You are invited to worship with us as we open God's story and be in a community that celebrates the love poured out. The gathered community sings hymns, prays, listens to God's word, and shares in Holy Communion. Children are welcome and invited to join us, busy bags are available in the narthex for children to use.
We need your help as we get ready to pack 800 school kits for Lutheran World Relief.
Drop off your donations in the atrium before August 31st as we prepare to make a difference in communities that are facing crisis around the world.
Each school kit includes the following:
- 4 x Spiral Notebooks (70-80 sheets each)
- 5 x Unsharpened Pencils
- 5 x Black or Blue Ballpoint Pens
- 1 x Ruler
- 1 x Blunt Scissors
- 1 x Box of Crayons (16 or 24 count)
- 1 x Pencil Sharpener
- 1 x 2.5 Eraser
Monetary donations are welcome to help offset the cost of buying additional supplies and to cover the cost of shipping the packed kits. Checks can be made out to First Lutheran Church, and please put "LWR School Kits" in the memo line. If you want to give online, please choose " LWR School Kits " from the drop-down menu on the giving form.
